For decades Exercise Tiger has been the subject of debate and controversy prompting the same incomplete and inaccurate details endlessly repeated in books and on the internet, thereby perpetuating the “official” version of this disaster.

Survivors searching for the truth many years ago were able to acquire key documents that are today “not available” or “missing” from archive sources.

Detailed examination of these vital documents together with new witnesses who have recently come forward show a completely new perspective of what happened off the southern coast of England during the 27th and 28th April 1944.

Further research shows Exercise Tiger suffered more than one disaster and was not the only loss of life among the D-Day rehearsals that followed.
